Monthly Education Meetings
Our monthly meetings teach us about varied subjects. They are a chance to socialize, pick up tips from other members, or maybe just discuss projects you are currently working on. Non members are welcome to attend a meeting if you want to get to know us!
Newsletter
The Guild publishes a bi-monthly printed and online newsletter with information and articles about events, past educational meetings, list of discount suppliers and classified ads.
Northern Woods Annual Woodworking Show
Northern Woods is an annual woodworking show and competition sponsored by the Minnesota Woodworker's Guild and held at Southdale Center. The show provides an opportunity for Guild members to display and discuss their craft. More importantly, it gives the public an opportunity to view the best in high quality woodworking design and construction. The pieces on display are more than furniture. They are works of art.
Fall Seminar
Each Year a nationally known speaker and woodworking expert spends a weekend with the guild to teach in their particular area of expertise

The following tools are available for use by any member:
- Drill bit sharpener for standard twist and brad point bits
- HVLP sprayer (American Turbine AT-3000)
- Bench-top mortising machine (Jet JBM-5)
- Digital still camera (Olympus D-450)
- Professional photography light kit
- Veneering kit (vacuum bag)

Books and Video Tapes
The Guild has a large collection of woodworking related books and videos that can be checked out by members at the monthly educational meeting.
